Lunchtime Recital with Rishiraj Ghosh

Creative Oundle is delighted to present a lunchtime piano recital by Rishiraj Ghosh (Winner of the 2023 Oundle Festival of Music and Drama Musician of the Year Award). The recital will take place on Tuesday 9th July at 12pm in St Peter’s Church, Oundle.

Rishi is a 15-year-old enthusiast of music, mathematics, and computer science. He embarked on his musical journey when he was 4 years old, and has since achieved his ARSM diploma on piano and Grade 8 in violin, both with distinctions.

He first played at the Oundle Festival of Music and Drama in 2019, when he earned the Prabhu Singh Memorial Prize for his piano performance. In 2023, he won the Young Musician of the Year award and the Mole Cup and European Piano Teachers’ Award at the Cambridge Competitive Music Festival.

Rishi will play pieces from Beethoven (including two movements from the Tempest Sonata), Chopin, Ravel and Khachaturian. He will also play two short duets (Faure and Debussy) with his younger sister.
