Update on 2021 Creative Oundle July events

Yesterday, 14 July, the government announced a four week delay in implementing a full post-COVID re-opening. This period covers the duration of the 2021 Oundle International Festival and Oundle for Organists Summer School.

We had always planned for the Festival, the Summer School and the Food Festival to be able to operate within the Step 3 restrictions which came into force on 17 May and now remain in force until 19 July.

We therefore are able to continue with our exciting plans for the 2021 Festival, with venues operating at no more than 50% of audience capacity and the Summer School operating within the education guidelines.

This means, of course, that ticket availability for Festival events is significantly less than usual: we encourage you to book in advance to make sure that you can obtain seats. If seats become unavailable or you cannot get to events, we are live streaming a number of them which you will be able to enjoy at home via our YouTube channel. You can book for all events and live streams via the Events calendar. Please be assured that if government regulations require us to cancel any events, our refund policy is to refund the full face value of your tickets.

At the venues, we will be seating all ticket holders individually and ask that you arrive in good time together with your whole party. We also ask that, unless it is absolutely necessary, you remain in your seats during your time in the venue and comply with government guidelines on the wearing of face masks. Unfortunately, we will not be able to operate a bar service this year.

Despite the restrictions we are all having to continue to observe, we nonetheless hope that the great performances on offer will bring joy to your hearts and uplift your spirits!
