Update on This Year’s Festival

Since receiving our Cultural Recovery Grant, we have been hard at work preparing to re-launch under a new name, with new branding, bringing together our four strands of activity: Oundle International Festival, Oundle for Organists, Oundle Cinema and Oundle Food Festival. We will be ready to reveal that to you when we launch the 2021 Oundle International Festival.

In view of the developing COVID situation, we have decided to launch the Festival later than usual, probably in April or possibly even May. In the light of the vaccine roll out, we are hopeful that a near “normal” festival can go ahead, so hold the dates! Saturday 10 – Saturday 17 July.

The programme will be as exciting and varied as you have come to expect and will include international concert pianist Melvyn Tan, the Budapest Café Orchestra, West End cabaret kings Ferris and Milnes, Quentin Thomas and Alec Hone on two pianos, outdoor theatre from The Handlebards as well as David Walliams’ Mr Stink from Heartbreak Productions, a full programme of lunchtime recitals, Oundle on Show, Oundle Food Festival, and we will end with Party at the Wharf, bringing Oundle together for a summer celebration of music and community.
