Creative Oundle’s comedy series for the 2024/25 season has arrived!

Dear Creative Oundle friend,

We invite you to join us for four Comedy events to brighten up the Autumn and Winter evenings! 

Four great evenings are planned for late 2024 and early 2025. These are all on Fridays: September 20th 2024, November 22nd 2024, January 24th 2025, and March 21st 2025. All four shows will be held at Queen Victoria Hall, Oundle and are proudly sponsored by the Lemon Tree Café and Restaurant (6 West Street).

A limited number of early bird tickets are available for every show. Every one of our previous shows has sold out so book now to avoid disappointment.

Early Bird Tickets (limited number): Adult £12.50; 16-18 £10. Standard Advance Tickets: Adult £13.50; 16-18 £11. On the door (if available): Adult £15; 16-18 £12.50

The first evening of comedy kicks off on the 20th September at the Queen Victoria Hall in Oundle featuring the amazing Hitz Unadkat, David Eagle and compered by Sarah Johnson

Growing up in Leicester, Hitz tells his stories on the ups and downs of being a British Indian, and they will have you in stitches! (“He’s bloody brilliant”-Funny Firm Comedy). The evening also stars the incredibly talented David Eagle, a comedian and folk singer who tells tales of his adventures traveling the world. David has been a regular on BBC Radio 4’s *The Now Show* and has won no less than three New Comedian of the Year awards! The show will be compered by the brilliant Sarah Johnson, winner of the Best Midlands Comedy Breakthrough Act. All in all, a show not to be missed.

On the evening of Friday 22nd November it’s the second evening of fun-filled comedy with Mark Maier, Adele Cliff and Joe Sutherland

Come and join us for the second show of our 2024/25 comedy series for an evening of fun and laughter. The show brings together a host of amazing talent. On the bill will be Mark Maier, a multi-award-winning comedian who is no stranger to either television or BBC radio shows; the wonderful Adele Cliff, short-listed for Funniest Joke of the Fringe Award (2021) and winner of the UK Pun Championship; as well as the brilliant Joe Sutherland, who has appeared on *Roast Battle* (Comedy Central), *Hypothetical* (Dave), and *The Stand Up Sketch Show* (ITV2).

Welcome in the New Year – Comedy with Jonny Awsum, Alex Hylton, and Roger Monkhouse – Friday January 24th 2025
The New Year starts with a fantastic evening of comedy featuring Jonny Awsum, star of *Britain’s Got Talent*. They will be joined by Alex Hylton, providing his hilarious mix of anecdotes and one-liners. Finally, there’s Roger Monkhouse, a regular performer at London’s Comedy Store.

Finally, it will be Spring! Why not celebrate by coming along on Friday 21st March 2025 for an evening of comedy with Tom Little, Jack Gleadow, and Edie Johnson 

This event features two winners of the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Award–Tom Little and Jack Gleadow. They will be joined by Edie Johnson, an award-winning Ukulele-playing comedian from Nottingham.
